An Immovable Solitude

An Immovable Solitude - S.A. McAuley I absolutely adore this book! For me this was one amazing read - up there with my favorites for the year. Great characters, beautiful settings and a continuous rollercoaster ride of emotions. Everything I hope to find in a story. I really look forward to future releases from Sam McAuley.
Love Is In The Message - RJ Scott A fantastic series of shorts. Enjoyed them immensely :-)
Cut & Run - Abigail Roux, Madeleine Urban Even better the fourth time around! On to Sticks & Stones...
The Gravedigger's Brawl - Abigail Roux Love love loved it! Ash, Wyatt, Noah, Caleb, Ryan and Delilah are a fantastic ensemble of characters. Hopefully there will be more from this group. Yet again, Abigail Roux has shown that she is up there with the best. Congrats on a thoroughly entertaining and fun read.
The Party Boy's Guide to Dating a Geek (Clumsy Cupid Guidebooks #1) - Piper Vaughn, Xara X. Xanakas I really enjoyed this story. Loved the geek references and absolutely adored the characters. A sweet HEA will always make my day! Looking forward to the next installment. Congrats ladies :-)
To Catch A Fox - Geoffrey Knight, Ethan Day As a fan of both Ethan and Geoff I have been eagerly awaiting this release and it's no surprise that I absolutely loved it. What an entertaining and fun read!! For me it was like a cross between Gone with the Wind and Indiana Jones :-) Great characters, plenty of action and lots of laughs. Congrats to both writers on a great read. I can't begin to imagine the fun you must have had writing this one together!! Please don't leave us hanging for too long for the next installment in this wonderful adventure.
Let It Go - Mercy Celeste I finished this story about 15 minutes ago so the emotion is still very raw. WOW! An incredible story. I love my cowboy reads and this is up there with the finest for me. I rode every gut wrenching and heart breaking moment with Creed and Eli. I love it when a writer can insight extreme "feels" for me as a reader - bitter hatred for the bad guy (and I mean wretchedly evil) and overwhelming love and hope for those that are suffering. There are scenes which some will find hard to read, but for me, this is part of the reading experience. I rushed to finish this....I just had to know.....
Poor Little Rich Boy - Kate Sherwood As a huge fan of Kate Sherwoods writing style, I am always eagerly awaiting every new release. Poor Little Rich Boy is another fabulous read. A solid story line with excellent character development. Never a dull moment and had me hooked to the end. Congrats xxx
Listening To Dust - Brandon Shire This is without any doubt one of the hardest stories I have read. Gut wrenching. Phenomenal and very powerful writing. Wow! Brandon Shire is a must read for me.
After Ben - Con Riley What a wonderful story this is! I really enjoyed this read and I have to say it is up there in my favorites for the year. Theo's grieving process was palpable and my heart was breaking for him through the first 50% of the story. Then with the addition of the amazing Morgan and the wonderful (and extremely entertaining) secondary characters, his life begins to turn around. I loved taking this journey with Theo and without giving a spoiler, Morgan has become one of my most loved characters. I am really looking forward to Peter's story which is due out very, very soon! I love it when that happens! Yay! Thanks Con Riley for sharing this incredible story xx
Gold Digger - Aleksandr Voinov Quite simply....Aleks Voisnov perfection. The MCs Nikolai and Henri are absolutely fantastic, but as a long time fan of Vadim, he is the real scene stealer for me. I loved every second of this and many praises and much love to Aleks for bringing this story to us.
Love in La Terraza - Ethan Day I can always count on Ethan Day to make me smile! I love his MCs, the humor and the beautiful HEA.
Summer Heat - Lisa Worrall 4.5 stars

I love it when I have a small amount of time to sit down and read a short and complete story. Summer Heat has an interesting plot, great MCs and enough hotness to keep me entertained through to the end. I highly recommend this read if you are after a story to take you away for a few hours.
Junction X - Erastes Very powerful story. Beautiful and heart breaking at the same time. An unforgettable story that will stay with me for a long time.
Beyond Complicated - Mercy Celeste When I finished this last week I had to sit down and really have a think about where to start my review of it. I loved this story and loved each of the three main characters, that's not say it was hard to read in parts, but I really am glad I read it. I am a lover of anything written by Mercy Celeste and yes, as one reviewer said, no one writes dirty sexy man love quite like her. If I am not challenged or stirred emotionally when I read a book, I am disappointed. This is a tough emotional read on many levels and on more than one very difficult piece of subject matter. The way the writer is able to portray the depth of love these men have for each other is extraordinary.
Gifts From The Past (Expectations #3) - Liz Borino After thoroughly enjoying Liz Borino's "What Money Can't Buy" I was left eagerly awaiting book no: 3 in the continuing story of twins, Chris and Matt Taylor. "Gifts from the Past" moves right into the next stages of these gorgeous men's lives taking them into the world of parenthood.

The beautiful and loving relationship between Chris and Aiden is further strengthened through the adoption of two children. The appearance of an old friend, Ally, sheds some light at the end of the tunnel for Matt as he endures a tumultuous relationship with Carley.

You will laugh, you will cry and I dare you not to fall further into the lives of these wonderfully developed characters. To say any more would probably add spoilers to this review, as believe me, there is plenty happening in this story!! Thanks Liz Borino for another great read and hopefully you won't leave me "hanging" too long.....
