As a fan of both Ethan and Geoff I have been eagerly awaiting this release and it's no surprise that I absolutely loved it. What an entertaining and fun read!! For me it was like a cross between Gone with the Wind and Indiana Jones :-) Great characters, plenty of action and lots of laughs. Congrats to both writers on a great read. I can't begin to imagine the fun you must have had writing this one together!! Please don't leave us hanging for too long for the next installment in this wonderful adventure.
I finished this story about 15 minutes ago so the emotion is still very raw. WOW! An incredible story. I love my cowboy reads and this is up there with the finest for me. I rode every gut wrenching and heart breaking moment with Creed and Eli. I love it when a writer can insight extreme "feels" for me as a reader - bitter hatred for the bad guy (and I mean wretchedly evil) and overwhelming love and hope for those that are suffering. There are scenes which some will find hard to read, but for me, this is part of the reading experience. I rushed to finish this....I just had to know.....
What a wonderful story this is! I really enjoyed this read and I have to say it is up there in my favorites for the year. Theo's grieving process was palpable and my heart was breaking for him through the first 50% of the story. Then with the addition of the amazing Morgan and the wonderful (and extremely entertaining) secondary characters, his life begins to turn around. I loved taking this journey with Theo and without giving a spoiler, Morgan has become one of my most loved characters. I am really looking forward to Peter's story which is due out very, very soon! I love it when that happens! Yay! Thanks Con Riley for sharing this incredible story xx
When I finished this last week I had to sit down and really have a think about where to start my review of it. I loved this story and loved each of the three main characters, that's not say it was hard to read in parts, but I really am glad I read it. I am a lover of anything written by Mercy Celeste and yes, as one reviewer said, no one writes dirty sexy man love quite like her. If I am not challenged or stirred emotionally when I read a book, I am disappointed. This is a tough emotional read on many levels and on more than one very difficult piece of subject matter. The way the writer is able to portray the depth of love these men have for each other is extraordinary.
After thoroughly enjoying Liz Borino's "What Money Can't Buy" I was left eagerly awaiting book no: 3 in the continuing story of twins, Chris and Matt Taylor. "Gifts from the Past" moves right into the next stages of these gorgeous men's lives taking them into the world of parenthood.
