In the Company of Shadows - Sonny & Ais

Finished Book One - Evenfall and now into Book Two - AfterImage.  Nothing excites me more than an epic read like this.  OMGawd it is AMAZING!  And it's free. <3

This looks great!!

Now I just need 456 hours to figure out what I am doing here

Glitterland - Alexis Hall One of my favorite reads this year. It took me a few chapters to get used to the Essex twang but once that happened it flowed. An amazingly accurate account of a person who suffers from Bi Polar.
Darius and Ash are two absolutely beautiful MC's who will stay in my heart forever. I adored it and will be reading again soon.
Six Degrees of Lust - Taylor V. Donovan I absolutely loved this book. One of the most enjoyable reads for me this year! Excellent plot, great characters and so very well written. Congrats to Taylor on an amazing start to the series which has left me desperately wanting for more.

Loved this even more on the second read. Really one of my favorite reads to date <3
Dirty Laundry - Rhys Ford I absolutely adore this book. I make no secret of the fact that I have been a huge fan of Rhys Ford from the initial release in this series and I believe they just keep getting better and better. Everything I love in a read is expertly bought to the page by this author. Action, suspense, angst, drama and the schmexy is so well written it takes my breath away. Cole and Jae are two of my favorite MC's in the genre and this, the third installment in the series, has left me wanting so much more. Thanks Rhys.
Tread Marks &Trademarks - S.A. McAuley I absolutely adored this story. I fell in love with Christian and Alex in The Maker Jock and found this to be the perfect HEA for them. A touch of angst, plenty of humor, a great storyline and a perfect love make this one great read.

Micah, twin brother to Alex, is one of my favorite secondary characters and seeing the note at the end that he will have his story truly made my day (and the title for Micah's book had me laughing out loud!).

I am so happy to have discovered Sam McAuley in 2012. She is one of my most loved new writers and an auto read for sure. Looking forward to more upcoming releases from her <3
Blood Red Butterfly - Josh Lanyon I absolutely adored this book. For me it was perfect in every way. Great main characters and a sharp plotline mixed with the right amount of angst and smexiness. Welcome back Josh Lanyon <3
Rough Canvas - Joey W. Hill I really loved this story. The only thing stopping me from giving it that extra star is the fact that it took me a little while to connect with the characters. Highly recommended.
The Flesh Cartel #4: Consequences (The Flesh Cartel Season 2: Fragmentation) - Rachel Haimowitz, Heidi Belleau Less physically brutal, more of Nikolai's mind games in this episode. Harsh, very harsh, but I will not give up on hope for Mat and Dougie. Bring on the next installment...
Snowfall - Cameron Dane Holy hotness! I adored Christian and Jonah in A Fostered Love and this follow up short from Cameron Dane is their icing on the cake. After four years together their love for each continues to strengthen and it is quite simply, beautiful. This story surprised me in the nicest possible way and left me with a big fat smile and a very warm heart.
Man Falls Down - Eric Arvin I've been sitting here in front of my computer staring at the blank box under the "What did you think?" prompt for 15 minutes now trying to come up with some words that won't make me sound like a total dork. So I'll tell it how I feel it.

I was floored by this story from Eric Arvin. His powerful imagery has me forgetting absolutely everything that is going on around me. I loved this short piece of writing, I loved everything about it. I was totally absorbed. It left my heart racing and wondering how so few words could have such an impact? I love this man's writing.

Onto my next Arvin read :-)
Blind Faith (Blind Faith #1) - N.R. Walker As a huge fan of NR Walker I have been eagerly awaiting this release. I loved everything about this beautiful and very sweet romance. The MCs ring true to me and I often had the feeling that this was factual and not fiction. This love story has laughs, a splash of angst and a load of sweet loving :-)
Purgatory - Jet Mykles I am really loving this series! Romance, passion, humor and a splash of angst. Luc is my favorite member of Heaven Sent so far, but I still have a few more to go ;-)

Charming Monsters

Charming Monsters - Kannan Feng Well this one is hard to rate. Enjoyable, I don't think I would put it quite like that. Engrossing, totally. This is an extremely well constructed novella with excellent character development. I didn't really warm to the MC's, but only for the reason that they are both so damn flawed and twisted. Even though the story made me feel a little uncomfortable (a lot actually), it had me from start to finish. What surprised me even more, was that I was left with a need to know more about Wesley and Jack and the progression of their "relationship". Certainly not everyone's cup of tea but I am very glad to have read it.
Dirty Secret - Rhys Ford Fast becoming one of my favorites, book #2 in this series continues to sizzle along. It really has everything I love in a read. Humor, action, romance, angst and two main characters I am now totally invested in. The next installment in this series cannot come quick enough. So happy to have found a jewel in Rhys Ford.

And I may be sounding repetitive here, but Bobby still continues to light up every page he appears on. Cannot wait for his story ;-)
Quid Pro Quo - Aleksandr Voinov, L.A. Witt Oh my goodness! This set my kindle on fire!! Loved every second of it. I really look forward to more, more, more in this series.
